Masonry reinforcing block ladder wire
Block ladder wire is widely used in the building construction area, normally used in the wall for reinforcement.
The block ladder wire is configured by welding of galvanized steel rod in H form or designed angle. Galvanized before welded or galvanized after welded ladder mesh products are provided by concrete for horizontal joint reinforcement of the masonry wall system. In construction, the ladder mesh is put embedded in the horizontal mortar joints of masonry walls.
There are several kinds are available:
1. Welded after hot dipped galvanized
2. Welded after electro galvanized
3. Welded before electro galvanized
4. Welded before hot dipped galvanized
5. Welded by stainless steel wire
Size details:
Normally 3 meters long, the space distance is 1000px, and with different width 125px, 250px, 375px, 500px.
Standard Mesh Length | Width | Finishes |
10'(3.05m) | 2"(50mm) | Uncoated |
4"(100mm) | ||
6"(150mm) | ||
8"(200mm) | ||
10"(250mm) |
Benefits:
Greatly reduces cracking that can arise from thermal stresses. This enhances resistance to water penetration, as cracks are controlled.
Increases lateral flexural strength.
Bonds exterior and interior masonry wythes together in composite or cavity walls. Also bonds masonry at intersecting walls and corners.
Increases elasticity and performance of masonry walls under various stresses.
Features:
Butt-welding of cross rods to longitudinal rods (not more than 16"o.c.). This construction enhances bonding capabilities, eliminates projection of cross rods beyond the specified width of reinforcement, and prevents excessive build up of wire in limited mortar joints.
Continuous deformation along each longitudinal rod for superior bonding performance
